 Middle East Regional Conflict & Flight Cancellations

​Due to the ongoing regional escalation, major airspaces in the Middle East are currently closed or restricted. 

Rapido Travel is advising all clients to check their flight status immediately.

​🚫 Current Airspace Closures:

  • ​Iran, Israel, Lebanon, Qatar, Iraq, Kuwait, Syria, and Bahrain.
  • ​UAE (Dubai/Abu Dhabi): Operating under emergency restrictions; most flights suspended.

​✈️ Major Airline Status (As of March 2, 2026):

  • ​Emirates & Etihad: Operations suspended until further notice; rebooking/refunds available for travel through March 15/20.
  • ​Qatar Airways: All flights fully suspended.
  • ​Air India & IndiGo: All flights to the Gulf and Israel suspended until at least 23:59 tonight.
  • ​British Airways: All flights to Tel Aviv and Bahrain cancelled through March 3.

​   ⚠️ Urgent Advice:

         Do NOT head to the airport unless your airline has confirmed your flight is operating.
​          Expect significantly longer flight times for any operational routes due to rerouting.
​           Travelers currently in the region should register with their national embassies for emergency updates.
